On June 5 - June 7, 2018, the " Chinese dream, labor beauty" speech contest, organized by the Provincial Labor Union of Education, Science, Culture, Sports and Sanitation was in Northwestern University. Themed with study and implementation of President Xi’s ideas of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the contest had a total of 85 contestant. The union of our school sent three people to participate in the contest.

After two days of intense competition, the three contestants of our university all showed their outstanding performance and showed the charm of our young faculty. Xu Haibing, a teacher from the school of Culture and Media, entered the finals with excellent results and became the only contestant from a private college. In the final, our contestant Xu haibing wore a bright red skirt and received warm applause from the audience. In her speech, she was motivated by her predecessors' deeds and showed her education dream and career commitment, as well as her deep love for education career.

In the end, Xu Haibing won the third prize, Wu Jin from the school of Culture and Media and Jia Shuqi from Accounting School won the excellence award. Our university won the Excellent Organization award.

After the match, the contestants said only by constantly learning and improving themselves, and not being afraid of hard work can they do good to students and well as their dreams. They must pass this enthusiasm on to their work and life!
