外交部近日通知，《中华人民共和国政府和博兹瓦纳共和国政府关于互免持外交、公务和官员护照人员签证的协定》已于2018年8月31日在基加利签署，并于2018年12月22日正式生效。

根据该协定，中华人民共和国持有效的中华人民共和国外交、公务、公务普通护照的公民和博兹瓦纳共和国持有效的博兹瓦纳共和国外交、官员护照的公民，在缔约另一国入境、出境或者过境，自入境之日起不超过三十（30）日，免办签证。

望各有关航空运输企业据此为两国互免签证人员出行提供便利。

NOTICE

The People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Botswana signed the AGREEMENT ON MUTUAL VISA EXEMPTION FOR HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC, OFFICIAL AND SERVICE PASSPORTS on August 31, 2018. It has been come into effect on December 22,2018.

Citizens of the People's Republic of China holding valid diplomatic and service passports and passports for public affairs of the People's Republic of China and citizens of the Republic of Botswana holding valid diplomatic and official passports the Republic of Botswana shall be exempted from visa requirement for entry into, exit from, or transit through the territory of the other Contracting Party, fora period of stay not exceeding thirty (30) days from the date of their entry.

The CAAC expects every air carrier to facilitate travel for officers who meet the specifications of above.
