外交部近日通知，《中华人民共和国政府和卡塔尔国政府关于互免签证的协定》已于2018年7月9日在北京签署，并于2018年12月21日正式生效。

根据该协定，中华人民共和国持有效的中华人民共和国外交、公务、公务普通护照及普通护照的公民可免签入境并在卡塔尔国境内停留，自入境之日起在卡塔尔国境内停留不超过30天。中国人民共和国公民入境后，如需在卡塔尔国境内停留逾30日，应根据卡塔尔国相关法律和规定申请延长停留期。

卡塔尔国持有效的卡塔尔国外交、特别、公务及普通护照的公民可免签入境并在中国人民共和国境内停留，自入境之日起在中华人民共和国境内停留不超过30天。卡塔尔国公民入境后，如需在中华人民共和国境内停留逾30日，应根据中华人民共和国相关法律和规定申请办理停留证件。

NOTICE

The Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the State of Qatar signed the AGREEMENT ON MUTUAL VISA EXEMPTION on July 9, 2018. It has been come into effect on December 28, 2018.

Citizens of the People's Republic of China holding valid diplomatic, service, public affairs, ordinary passports issued by the Government of the People's Republic of China may enter and stay without a visa in the territory of the State of Qatar for maximum period of thirty (30) days, from the date of entry. After entering the territory of the State of Qatar, Citizens of the People's Republic of China who need to stay for a period of more than thirty (30) days, shall apply for extension of period of stay in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the State of Qatar.

Citizens of the State of Qatar holding valid diplomatic, special, service, ordinary passports issued by the Government of the State of Qatar may enter and stay without a visa in the territory of the People's Republic of China for maximum period of thirty (30) days, from the date of entry. After entering the territory of the People's Republic of China, Citizens of the State of Qatar, who need to stay for a period of more than thirty (30) days, shall apply for stay permit in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China. 

The CAAC expects every air carrier to facilitate travel for officers who meet the specifications of above.
