外交部近日通知，《中华人民共和国政府和南苏丹共和国政府关于互免持外交、公务和特别护照人员签证的协定》已于2018年8月31日在北京签署，并将于2019年3月28日正式生效。

根据该协定，中华人民共和国持有效的中华人民共和国外交、公务护照的公民和南苏丹共和国持有效的南苏丹共和国外交、特别公务护照的公民，在缔约另一国入境、出境或者过境，自入境之日起不超过30日，免办签证。

望各有关航空运输企业据此为两国互免签证人员出行提供便利。

NOTICE

The Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic South Sudan signed the AGREEMENT ON MUTUAL VISA EXEMPTION FOR HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC, SERVICE AND SPECIAL PASSPORTS on August 31, 2018. It will come into effect on March 28, 2019.

Citizens of the People's Republic of China holding valid diplomatic or service passports of People's Republic of China, and citizens of the Republic of South Sudan holding valid diplomatic or special passports of the Republic of South Sudan, shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from or transit through the territory of the other Contracting Party, for a period of stay not exceeding thirty(30) days from the date of their entry.

The CAAC expects every air carrier to facilitate travel for officers who meet the specifications of above.
