On October 15, CAAC Deputy Administrator Lyu Erxue issued the Letter of Approval for the Trial Operation of Specific Types of UAS and the License for the Use of UAS in Delivery to Zhang Lei, CEO of Hangzhou Songba Logistics Technology Co., Ltd., an Antwork subsidiary. This will be the first time that China conducts trial operation of specific types of Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) that have finished operational risk assessment and certification, since CAAC issued the Regulations on the Trial Operation of Specific Types of UAS (Interim) and the new policy of streamlining administrative procedures in issuing operation license.
