Key Responsibilities:
1.Analyze product failure data and laboratory test results to determine causes of problems and develop solutions
2.Conducting tests on raw materials or finished products to ensure their quality
3.Determine appropriate methods for fabricating and joining materials
4.Evaluate technical specifications and economic factors relating to process or product design objectives
5.Monitor material performance and evaluating material deterioration
6.Plan and implement laboratory operations for the purpose of developing material and fabrication procedures that meet cost, product specification, and performance standards
7.Review new product plans and making recommendations for ease of manufacturability while meeting the product design objectives, such as strength, weight, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost

1.Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, or other related technical degrees
2.A conceptual understanding of chemical engineering principles of heat transfer, vapor-liquid equilibria, mass transfer and thermodynamics, and their general application to process design.
3.Excellent knowledge of technical theory, engineering principles, good engineering practices and how to apply them for design execution
4.Extensive experience with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design, quality, or processes
5.Extensive experienced in relief calculation methodologies and industry codes and standards applicable to pressure relief design.
6.Knowledgeable in process design of equipment, including vessels, columns, heat exchangers and package process specifications for equipment and control valves.
7.Experience with process configuration and optimization studies to increase product yield, reduce utility consumption (steam, power, cooling water) and reduce/mitigate flare loads.
8.Demonstrated experience in process simulation and automation.
9.Demonstrated experience in all deliverables, tasks and activities listed in the position summary and responsibilities section.
10.Professional Engineer license , or willingness to complete
